I have been doing EXTREMELY well thusfar this year with my own selections here locally and would like somewhere to post them so that I can have some legitimacy to my selections. I am not telling anyone to tail me by any means just want to start somewhere. Was hoping I could have a thread in the newbies forum to do so. If not just let me know where I should go. Thanks!

My selections are based on a 1-10 unit system

4 unit VaTech -15.5 When i saw this line I said WHOA thats a lot of points for a conference game against a team with TALENT in North Carolina. But the game being in blacksburg is a huge plus. Most of the time I say WHOA about a line and think its just TOO little or TOO big a line then going the other way is usually the way to go. I guess you could call it fading that first initial instinct.

2 unit NY Yankees -200 ML The yankees will come in focused and get the job done. Cliff Lee was amazing and I just don't see Pedro doing the same.

2 unit OVER 9 runs- It is a pretty high number for a World series game 2 but the Phils have scored 5+ runs in almost all if not all of their games this postseason. I believe these teams will break out the wood tonight and put some guys across the plate.


If I have posted in the wrong place or are unallowed to keep a thread or post with my picks then that is completely understandable just please let me know where I might be able to do so. Thanks and if anyone follows, best of luck!

Just got in from work

Its been a hellaciously long day. I own my own business and had a deadline I had to meet for a client of mine. Im completely beat. I am down a few units but will bounce back this weekend I feel confident. I will post in the morning whenever I get to see what kind of action is going on tomorrow. I liked the over tonight but didn't have time to post on here and also didn't have time to place the bet with my book. Its been that horrible a day. Ill see this thread tomorrow. And thanks for wishing me luck, everyone needs a little!

Too busy to even post. Had a great day saturday but none of it counts here in this thread cause i didn't post. So currently minus 5.7 units. Will most likely end up with a losing week as I don't believe in chasing with HUGE plays AT ALL. But lets see how Sunday goes. I bet for the action (and of course to make money) so i will be betting EVERY game this sunday. normally a gamblers nightmare, but has been working so far this year. Lets see how it goes with me having it put down on "paper" for the world to see...or maybe just the 1 or two people that will read this! lol

Not looking so good thusfar. Just gotta keep pluggin. Haven't had a week like this in a while. The 4 oclocks and sadly enough no sunday night football. I will have a baseball play though.

2units The yankees will take control of the series tonight. Their bats came alive and CC will come through. And do any of us really trust joe blanton? My only worry is that the ML is only -165. It just seems kind of low with that particular pitching matchup, but ill still take the yanks.

This is FUN!!

I just want to say thanks to oldmanTed for continuing to let me post my picks here. If anyone has ever considered tracking themselves this is a great and VERY fun way of doing it. I am quickly learning some things i need to work on. It also gives me an idea of what the other guys go through and do. Its a rush to post your plays and ideas out there for others to possibly read. I mean I know no one looks or reads this, but hopefully I can bet like i have been betting all year. Its kind of different actually posting them. I hopefully will be able to spend more time on it this next week. i guess I can try posting from my iphone, that would be more convenient. I won close to 900 dollars here locally this weekend i just didn't get the picks posted here, so that only counts for my wallet, not for my units, wins/losses etc. If anything I will be honest. I look forward to posting all my plays from now on. I have seriously had a great time with this and look forward to continuing. Definitely need to work on my plays, and be more diligent getting them posted. thanks to everyone from the forum and again to oldmanted. Ima go getum this week!

Got my feet under me near the end 4-2 +10 units to make sure this boat didn't completely sink too early! I'll be back with more winners this coming week for sure. I play a lot of games cause it is fun, if it isn't expendable income and you don't have fun doing it, then DONT!!! On the flip side of that winning IS fway more and ALWATS fun!

Getting warm. I had a tough start to posting my picks, but have got it going now and feel pretty comfortable. I think it's going to be a big week. Hell after losing 10 units last week I better get it on track! I have been winning around 6-7 out of ten games all year. With most of my bets being around 50-100 bucks. So I may tweak my units because I think I will consistently be over .500 but my units may have me down. I'll figure that out. If anyone has some more ideas or advice I would definitely listen. I may not change anything but will definitely appreciate any advice at all. Hope everyone had a great Monday night of gambling! I'll have a pick or two posted tonight small plays but a couple NBA and the college game.

Another good night. Only +2.8 units, but went 3-1. I have got to figure something a little better out with these units. I am very used to consistent winning over the last couple years so maybe i should go flat bets across the board, but thats no fun. Oh well, I will keep tinkering with it. I feel like i should win the majority of my bets every day. going at LEAST .500. But everynight i like to think I will sweep the board. If anyone is following me, which I HIGHLY doubt anyone is and i can't blame them, I really hope they started sunday...lol

15-10 overall but still down 2 units. 6-1 this week (starting monday)

Normally i would never do this but I had two plays tonight that i called into my book here locally. I AM going to count them in my total, I have been at the hospital with some things going on and wasn't able to post but DID play these two plays for 25 dollars each, so not much at all.

oh yeah...

I also had the yankees for the series here locally for 75 bucks at -200 but cant decide if i should count that in my total. Since this is really just a thread for myself I probably COULD count it. And of course it would count win or lose. Also when i lose something like a 2 unit bet at -200 for instance I will count that as a -4 loss if i lose. I want to do this more or less for myself so I can go back and see what my thoughts were and why and just keep better track of my record. If anyone actually is following this thread (whether you are following the picks or not) I promise to be truthful, that is my one greatest quality and quite possibly my ONLY quality...lol. Oh yeah one thing i ALWAYS do here on RX is look at the FADE brandon lang thread...It's great. For entertainment and for money making. It's just GREAT! it is a thread in the service plays forum for any newbies that are looking around. nonetheless, another long boring post by me. have a great night...again

3-0 technically. Im counting it because i bet it. Good Job yankees. I usually hate them but love them when they win me money. I picked EVERY single game in the series correctly. Plus the overall series correctly. A nice day for me to take me to 18-0 overall and +3 units (with the series counting as 3 units (25 per unit is how I am looking at the units THUSFAR, but i still need to work on that aspect).

3-2. +1.8 units. Kind of a back door cover for me with that late field goal in the vaTech game. Lucky but I'll take it. Still on the overall winning side and doing well this week. This week is highly indicative of how my weeks have been going. 12-3 this week and Gonna keep rolling. I honestly imagin. I am doing as well or better than most any capper out there right now. But it is a long ride of ups and downs, I'm up now but I know there will be some losing streaks I just have to make sure they are short. I look at gambling like golf, it's not how many great holes I have, its how well I can manage those bad holes. Keep those 7's and 8's off the scorecard and I'll have a decent round. It's 9:15 and I'm still in bed so I'm gonna get up and get the day started. I'll post later.

I started reading some posts around the other forums and saw a lot of people only got the game at -13 so it was a push for them. I got it at 12.5 and posted it the same. I jut don't want anyone thinkingim a liar or a scumbag (cough cough Brandon Lang) lol I am counting it as a win cause for me personally, it was.
